Tier 1 (一档); Issued Dec 2024 by Sichuan Provincial Government (川府规〔2024〕4号), drafted by the provincial 人力资源和社会保障厅; effective 2025-01-01 for 3 years. Tiers reduced from three to two: Tier 1 monthly = 2330 CNY (107 CNY/day), Tier 2 = 2200 CNY (101 CNY/day). Part-time hourly: Tier 1 = 23 CNY, Tier 2 = 22 CNY. Tier 1 applies to major urban districts including Chengdu's central districts (锦江/青羊/金牛/武侯/成华 etc.), Tianfu New Area, and Chengdu High-tech Zone. NOTE: As of mid-2026 a further increase (Tier 1 to 2500 CNY, hourly to 25 CNY) was under public consultation (征求意见稿) but had NOT yet taken effect; the current statutory rate remains 2330 CNY.
