Reported figure = PKR 40,000 because Punjab alone (most populous province) plus Sindh and KPK cover the large majority of the workforce. Tier chosen: unskilled adult full-time worker (lowest/base category). Weekly hours = 48 (standard 8 hrs/day x 6 days; Sindh notification cites 26 working days/month, daily PKR 1,538, hourly PKR 192).
