International Labour Organization (ILO) / Qatar Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (ADLSA), Law No. 17 of 2020Qatar has a single national, non-discriminatory statutory minimum wage applying to all workers of all nationalities and sectors, including domestic workers (the first such law in the Gulf region). Set by Law No. 17 of 2020, effective 20 March 2021, and unchanged through 2026. The reported figure is the BASIC monthly wage of QAR 1,000 (the standard tier covering the largest group). In addition, employers must pay allowances of at least QAR 500/month for accommodation and QAR 300/month for food where these are not provided in kind, bringing the maximum cash package to QAR 1,800/month; the basic wage may never fall below QAR 1,000 even when housing/meals are provided directly. weekly_hours_used=48 reflects Qatar's standard maximum working week (8 hrs/day, 6 days) under Labour Law No. 14 of 2004 (reduced during Ramadan). No age/region tiers apply. Hourly not computed per instructions.
