WageIndicator.org (Oman) / Oman Ministry of Labour (Ministerial Decision 541/2013)Oman's statutory minimum wage is OMR 325/month, comprising a basic salary of OMR 225 plus OMR 100 in allowances. It applies ONLY to Omani nationals in the private sector; there is no statutory minimum wage for expatriate workers, whose pay is set by contract. Although expatriates form the majority of Oman's private-sector workforce, OMR 325 is the only statutory minimum and is the standard adult full-time rate for the covered group (Omani nationals). Rate unchanged since 1 July 2013. weekly_hours_used=45 per Article 68 of the Omani Labour Law (max 9 hours/day, 45 hours/week); some sources note a possible reduction to 40 hours, but 45 remains the predominantly cited statutory standard. Note: Decision 13/2025 introduced a separate OMR 3/hour minimum for part-time work (Omani nationals only) — not the standard full-time tier. A proposed increase to OMR 400 has been discussed but not enacted as of June 2026.
