Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy (Republic of Croatia) - Uredba o visini minimalne plaće za 2026. (NN 132/2025)Croatia sets a national statutory minimum wage as a MONTHLY GROSS figure (no natively published hourly rate). For 2026 it is EUR 1,050.00 gross/month for full-time work, effective 1 January 2026, set by Government Regulation (Uredba) published in Narodne novine NN 132/2025 (adopted 24 Oct 2025). This is up EUR 80 (+8.25%) from the 2025 rate of EUR 970. Net is roughly EUR 799/month (varies by municipality income-tax rate). Statutory full-time week is 40 hours, so an implied hourly rate is ~EUR 6.05 (1050 x 12 / 52 / 40) - this is derived, not official. The minimum applies regardless of job complexity. No general statutory youth/apprentice sub-minimum; exceptionally a collective agreement may set a lower amount, but the employer must top up to the regulated minimum. Separate higher minimum bases exist for company directors/board members and self-employed (approx. EUR 1,295.45/month gross for 2026). Government target is at least EUR 1,250/month by 2028. Official figure corroborated by vlada.gov.hr.
