Brussels Economy and Employment (Brussels Regional Public Service) - National Labour Council CBA no. 43 (RMMMG/GGMMI)Belgium has no native statutory hourly minimum wage. It sets a "guaranteed average minimum monthly income" (RMMMG / GGMMI), established by National Labour Council collective bargaining agreement no. 43 and automatically indexed to the smoothed health index via the pivot mechanism. Standard adult full-time rate: EUR 2,189.81 gross/month, effective 1 April 2026 (indexation; up from EUR 2,154.11 on 1 January 2026). Applies to private-sector employees aged 18+. Implied hourly approx. EUR 13.30 at the statutory 38-hour week (not officially published as an hourly rate). Sub-minima: sectoral CBAs may set reduced rates for workers aged 18-20 (reductions up to ~10%); there is no single national youth sub-minimum. Note this national floor is a baseline covering ~3% of workers; most are covered by higher sectoral CBA minimums (which cannot fall below the RMMMG).
