GOV.UK - National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates (HM Government)Reported the National Living Wage (the tier covering the largest group of adult workers, aged 21 and over) at GBP 12.71/hour, effective 1 April 2026. The UK uses age/status tiers: 18-20 = GBP 10.85; 16-17 = GBP 8.00; Apprentice = GBP 8.00. Rates published natively per hour and updated each 1 April. The April 2026 figure was recommended by the Low Pay Commission (25 Nov 2025) and confirmed in the Autumn Budget (26 Nov 2025). The prior NLW (from April 2025) was GBP 12.21.
