Qatar has a single national, non-discriminatory statutory minimum wage applying to all workers of all nationalities and sectors, including domestic workers (the first such law in the Gulf region). Set by Law No. 17 of 2020, effective 20 March 2021, and unchanged through 2026. The reported figure is the BASIC monthly wage of QAR 1,000 (the standard tier covering the largest group).
