BIG MAC: Standalone single Big Mac sandwich = 14.15 GEL per dolidoki.com (labeled "prices for 2024," article published 2024-12-21). This is the most authoritative standalone in-store figure found in GEL. The official mcdonalds.ge product page is a JS app and did not expose a static price; Expatistan/Numbeo only give a Big Mac COMBO MEAL (~23 GEL, Tbilisi) which is a meal, not the single sandwich; Wolt delivery shows a "Big Mac set" at ~54.95 GEL (combo + delivery markup, not comparable). Confidence medium because the standalone figure is ~2024 (not 2026) and not from the official menu. MINIMUM WAGE: Georgia has a national statutory minimum wage on paper, but it is essentially symbolic. Private-sector minimum = 20 GEL/month, set by Presidential Decree No. 351 of 1999-06-04 and never updated/indexed since. (Public-sector minimum is 115 GEL/month.) No employer pays this; the real market floor is far higher (informally ~300-350 GEL/month; formal entry-level roles ~800-1,000 GEL/month). A 2024 proposal to raise it to 950 GEL/month was not enacted. Hourly figure (0.12 GEL/hr) is a mathematical conversion of the 20 GEL/month nominal rate using a 40-hour standard work week (Georgian Labour Code) and ~173.3 monthly hours; it has no practical meaning. Reported monthly = 20 GEL (private-sector statutory). If you prefer the public-sector rate, use 115 GEL/month.
