Uradni list Republike Slovenije (Official Gazette) No. 6/2026, entry 175 "Znesek minimalne plače za leto 2026" - Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal OpportunitiesSlovenia publishes the statutory minimum wage (minimalna placa) as a single monthly GROSS figure, not a native hourly rate. For 2026 it is EUR 1,481.88 gross/month (approx. EUR 1,000 net), effective for work performed from 1 January 2026, a 15.97% increase over the 2025 rate of EUR 1,277.72. Determined annually by the Minister of Labour under Articles 5 and 6 of the Zakon o minimalni placi (Minimum Wage Act) and published in the Official Gazette by 31 January each year. There is a single standard adult full-time rate with NO separate statutory youth or apprentice sub-minima. Statutory full-time working week is 40 hours; an hourly equivalent can be derived as roughly EUR 1,481.88 / (40 x 52 / 12) approx. EUR 8.55/hour, but this is not an officially published figure. Allowances, performance pay and business-performance bonuses are excluded from the minimum wage base. Confirmed by multiple sources including KPMG GMS Flash Alert 2026-050 and Slovenian outlets citing Uradni list 6/2026.
