Czechia publishes a native hourly minimum wage. From 1 Jan 2026 the adult full-time minimum is 134.40 CZK/hour for a standard 40-hour week, equivalent to 22,400 CZK/month (up from 124.40 CZK/hour and 20,800 CZK/month in 2025). Set by MPSV announcement No. 356/2025 Sb., based on a coefficient (0.434) per government regulation No. 285/2024 Sb. and § 111 of the Labour Code (Act No. 262/2006 Sb.). For statutorily shortened working weeks the hourly rate is proportionally higher while the monthly figure stays 22,400 CZK: 138.80 CZK/hour at 38.75 hrs/week, 143.40 CZK/hour at 37.5 hrs/week. Since Jan 2025 the private sector applies only the minimum wage (the 8-level guaranteed-wage table was abolished for private employers); guaranteed pay levels remain for the public sector. No separate statutory sub-minima for youth/apprentices in 2026 (earlier reduced rates for young/disabled workers were removed in prior reforms).
