Citizens Information (Government of Ireland) / Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (gov.ie)Standard adult full-time rate is the National Minimum Wage of EUR 14.15 per hour for employees aged 20 and over, effective 1 January 2026 (up from EUR 13.50 in 2025; a 65 cent / 4.8% increase). Set annually by the Minister for Enterprise on the recommendation of the Low Pay Commission under the National Minimum Wage Act 2000. Sub-minimum age-based rates: age 19 = EUR 12.74/hr; age 18 = EUR 11.32/hr; under 18 = EUR 9.91/hr. Recognised apprentices and those employed by a close family relative are excluded. Board/lodging allowances may offset toward the minimum (board EUR 1.27/hr; accommodation EUR 33.42/week or EUR 4.77/day). Native hourly figure - not derived from a monthly amount.
