Standard adult full-time gross rate is EUR 12.31/hour effective 1 June 2026 (automatic 2.41% revaluation triggered by inflation, arrete du 22 mai 2026, JO 24 May 2026), up from EUR 12.02 in force 1 Jan-31 May 2026. Monthly gross for a 35h/week full-time worker is EUR 1,867.02 (legal weekly working time is 35 hours; monthly = 151.67 hours). Net is approx EUR 1,477.93/month. Applies to metropolitan France and most overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Guyane, Martinique, La Reunion, Saint-Barthelemy, Saint-Martin, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon). Sub-minima: Mayotte has a separate convergence SMIC of EUR 9.56/hour (EUR 1,449.93/month). Youth abatement: workers under 18 with less than 6 months experience receive 80% (under 17) or 90% (17-18) of the SMIC. Apprentices and those on professionalisation contracts are paid a percentage of the SMIC graduated by age and year of contract.
